Obituary of Rose F Geurds

Rose (Fantauzzo) Geurds, 92, of Trenton, entered in God’s Care Wednesday, November 22, 2023 at home, with her husband, Anton Geurds and loving family by her side. Born and raised in the Chambersburg Section of Trenton, where she resided all of her life. Rose was formerly employed as a secretary for the City of Trenton Board of Education until her retirement. She was a lifelong parishioner of Our Lady of the Angels Parish-St. Joachim’s Church. Predeceased by her parents, Sigismondo and Carmela (Rubertone) Fantauzzo, her brother, Casper A. Fantauzzo and her sister, Mary Rose DeBono and her cousins, Anthony and Casper Fantauzzo and Mary (Fantauzzo) Circolo, Rose (Rubertone) Api and Rosemarie Rubertone, she is survived by her husband, Anton F. Geurds; her brother-in-law, Paul DeBono; also survived by her cousins, Phyllis Fantauzzo and Maria Henry. Calling hours will be Thursday, November 30, 2023 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at Our Lady of the Angels Parish-St. Joachim's Church, 20-56 Butler Street, Trenton, NJ 08611, followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am. Entombment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, 1200 Cedar Lane, Hamilton, NJ 08610.
